W-1
Overview
W-1 is coloqiual term for Phantom Energy Fuel, a fuel comprised of dark energy mixed with rare earthen minerals. It provides negative kentic energy which can be harnessed to provide fuel for faster than light travel. Visually it comes in forms of purple hued crystalized rock formations.
Instability
W-1's dark matter component is highly unstable when handled and can lead to producing tears. What was thought in the past to be a precourser to the universe ending, but in reality turn out to be a much smaller, yet still quite dangerous problem of its ability to create small, temporary tares in the universe known as Rips.
Mining
Mining of the Ore is done using specalist tools and should not be attmptedted by hand. Mineing of W-1 is regulated in most Empires and Goverment controlled spaces due to the dangers of possible Rips.
