Dusklight Colony

Overview 

Dusklight Colony is a terrestrial colony situated on the planet Onia which lies on the outer stars of the White Belt colonized systems. Above its orbit is the RIM-1 teleport gate, making Onia the first stop for any craft entering its system.

Layout 

The Station is Divided into 3 Zones as follows;

Commercial Zone: This zone is designated for commercial use, it houses grocery stores, a gym and diner as well as some residential structures.
Administrative Zone: The White Belt Administration building which also houses the DLSD can be found here, along with the Golden Rabbit club, the bank, Valor Medical clinic and the local headquarters of the Osiris corporation. The dockyard can also be found here which provides parking for vessels headed down to the planet below or up to RIM-1
Industrial Zone: Comprising of warehouses and depots this is where much of the offloaded cargo is picked up and shipped between the surface and the galactic trade network above.

Demographics 

The colony itself receives visitors from every empire and every race, being part of the White Belt it is open to many for both business and residence. The far rim of the White Belt has attracted many colonists to the area in search of employment and other pursuits, leading to an influx in population on both RIM-1 and down on the Dusklight Colony.

Politics 

The Colony is controlled by the White Belt Administration which designated the Onia Council to be in defacto charge of both the areas around the colony as well as the colony itself. The colony remains a frontier outpost and given the failings of colonial efforts in the Venmire Canyon region its found itself falling out of favor with the administration seeing it now as somewhat of a money sink, but unwilling to give up on the region.

The White Belt Administration does not allow empires to station their militaries or fleets in their space so Dusklight remains neutral and does not house any active on duty military members, however off duty military or possibly espionage agents could be a possibility.

Law Enforcement 

The local law is enforced by the Dusklight Sheriff's Department who oversees both the station itself and has light patrols of the dangerous region below.
