Overview

Humans, also known as Humanity or Mankind, is a species that originates from Earth, a diverse, continental world located in the Sol system. A troubled history, Humans have gone through multiple crises, ranging from economical implosions to closely avoiding all-out nuclear war to resource depletion.

Their robust and adaptive nature has allowed their divisive species to overcome countless challenges, and now they look to the stars to find new worlds to settle, resources to exploit, and knowledge of Deep Space.

While new to the galactic scene, Humans are recognized as a technologically-advanced species, and are responsible for quite a number of advancements in use by the other major powers to date.

Appearance

Humans have an average height between 5 and 7 feet, and body-types can range from skinny to broad builds.

A Human's skin color is usually one of various earthen colors, from pale white to tan to coal black. Typical eye colors are blue, green, auburn, hazel, and rarely, gray.

Galactic Opinion

Humans are often viewed as a stubborn, aggressive, and violent species, typically regarded as xenophobic expansionists who trust only their own species.

The Rokhandan species especially holds Humanity in a favorable light, as many of their kind have shared space in Human territory, sharing much of their own culture with Humans. While not allied with each other, both species have a generally warm attitude towards both relations.

However, following the Succession War, Humanity's relations with the other species was heavily damaged, as Human war crimes, ruthlessness, and dishonorable wartime conduct showed the truth of Human brutality.

Human avatars should be using a human head, such as the default avatar, catwa, aesthetic or alex to name a few examples. Skin colors should be of an earthen tone reflective of natural human skin. Do not use unnatural alien colors such as blue or green. Do not use elven or pointed ears, unless you have Anahi as a secondary race. Markings on the skin are allowed (such as tattoos) given they make sense for a human to have.
